Fog causes flight disruption at Auckland Airport

Fog in Auckland and Hamilton has caused flights to be delayed and cancelled today.

The Auckland International Airport website shows more than 50 domestic arrivals and departures have been cancelled, and dozens more delayed.

Several international flights have also been delayed.

At 1.30pm the Hamilton International Airport website showed 14 flights in and out of Hamilton had been cancelled and five delayed.

A spokesperson for Auckland Airport said the fog was showing no signs of clearing.

Passengers are being advised to check updates on flight departures and arrivals on the websites.
