Brilliant weather is forecast for this Saturday and the producers of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park are promising concert goers an event to remember as they count down to Saturday night’s show at the Auckland Domain.

Following the Christchurch concert, the crew faced major delays and logistical challenges due to less than ideal weather conditions as they packed up and prepared to transport eighteen containers of lighting, staging, super screens and audio equipment to Auckland for the second performance of the popular free Christmas event.

Event producer John Searle and his crew worked around the clock and with the help of Kiwi Rail and event partner Mainfreight managed to get the show to the Auckland Domain in time for Saturday’s concert.

And happily the weather forecast promises clear skies and stunning weather for the tens of thousands of concert goers expected to pour in to the Domain to enjoy their annual Christmas party under the stars.

They’ll be joined by a star trio of backing vocalists, Anna Grahame, Paul Fagamalo and Iri Aumatangi.

In addition to traditional Christmas carols and current hits, the crowd can expect some ‘wow’ moments including crowd favourite Snoopy’s Christmas complete with vintage biplanes, a five minute rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody and a spectacular fireworks finale to end the show.
