Phil has also worked with Austin Healey (English Rugby International) and Mary King (Olympic horsewoman).

Parker says, “I’ve always believed that almost anything is possible. So when, in the 1990s, I was asked to find a new way to help people who were incredibly stuck with their health issues, I eagerly began researching into how we might use the brain-body connection effectively.”

“My background as an osteopath and personal development expert provided me with an opportunity to approach health issues, and ways to make changes in our health, from a totally new perspective. That research resulted in me designing The Lightning Process® (LP),” said Parker.

The LP is a ground-breaking programme has been used by Parker and his team for the past 18 years to optimise personal performance and help with many different conditions, including, chronic pain, Multiple Sclerosis, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME). Recently, New Zealand based practitioners have been working successfully with clients using LP.

The LP is a unique and innovative way to promote positive health and wellbeing through the science of how the brain and body interact. It gives individuals practical tools to positively influence their lives and health, by breaking destructive cycles of behaviour and forging new neural pathways.

Phil Parker is currently completing his research PhD in the Psychology of Health. Based on this research, he has now developed non-12 Step programme ‘The Rediscovery Process’ (TRP), which helps to free people from long-term addictions, including alcohol, meth and other opiates.
