Two in hospital with injuries after assault in Avondale; one person arrested

An assault last night in Avondale has left one person in Auckland Hospital in a critical condition.

The assault occurred at 8.30pm.

Two other persons were also admitted to hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening.

After a police investigation, one person has been arrested.
