On the other hand, with the dumbing down of the 99% of New Zealanders who believe John Key gives a damn about their quality of life, man could probably do with some vastly more intelligent genetic input from the animal kingdom, or the plant kingdom or the sea life they originally came from.

If they know what GMO stands for they certainly don’t experience any impact. To the majority it is simply a non-issue.
