Woman tourist assaulted on Waiheke Island, 17-year-old arrested and charged

Auckland Police last night arrested and charged a 17-year-old Auckland man after a sexual assault on Waiheke Island earlier in the this afternoon.
The Victim of the assault is a 30-year-old woman tourist who was visiting Waiheke Island.
The 17-year-old will appear in the Auckland District Court charged with Aggravated Assault and Sexual Violation.
