The unelected rulers down South are putting water rights beyond New Zealanders control, and, all Local Government assets will then be sold off. Key has already removed legislation that Labour put in place in 2002 to protect LG assets and assets are now in a holding CCO ready for plunder.

And, as for housing – watch and learn about what is really important to Key. It ain’t the workers who need affordable accommodation, rental or first purchase, near their jobs.

Key also forgot to mention that developers landbank until prices for land skykrocket, so resource consent delays are often helpful to them.

Obviously, now Key is complaining about resource consent delays, the developers must be keen to get on to building – the high price must be right.

And by Aucklanders not fighting this takeover bid by moneyed interests, they will lose their autonomy and their assets and their privilege as Aucklanders to decide what sort of an Auckland they want.
