Fatal crash in Pukekohe: one person killed

One person was killed in a car crash on Rutherford Road in Pukekohe this morning.
The crash occurred at about 1115 am.
Emergency services attended but the occupant of the car died at the scene.
The Police Serious Crash unit are investigating the cause.
TV3 reports that the accident was on a rural road 5 kilometres east of Pukekohe.
