We’ve already had a gutsful of the Rodney Hide/John Key style of appointing politically favoured people to the opaque CCO Boards and in Rodney Hide’s case, in Hunua electorate, promising people at a meeting that he would take their comments back to the person responsible for deciding on the Auckland district council takeover, but forgetting to tell those people sitting in front of him that HE was the ‘responsible’ person and funnily enough he decided against their wishes, when he was safely back in his office.
