Just 4 weeks to go to enter your Student Short Film & Animation Works for UNI SHORTS 2013.

Inviting all film & animation schools, universities, polytechnics, and film students to enter your student short film works for the Uni Shorts International Student Film Festival 2013.

Great prizes and an exciting programme have been lined up for Uni Shorts 2013 which will be held at the Unitec Institute of Techology in Auckland on April 13-14. Uni Shorts is the only tertiary film festival of its type in Australasia and this year we have added a secondary schools (high schools) category for NZ Schools only

We accept short film entries in the following genres: narrative (fiction); non-fiction (documentary); animation and non-narrative (experimental).

There are seven prize categories:

* Best film (undergraduate)
* Best film (postgraduate)
* Best Documentary
* Best Animation
* Best Non-Narrative (Experimental)
* Best Overall Film
* Best NZ Secondary School film*

All submitted film work must be no longer than 20 minutes in duration and entirely student-made between March 2011 – November 2012 as part of a course of study, .

Enter now online at www.unishorts.unitec.ac.nz and send to the address below, or print out the attached entry form and send with your DVD screener, plus payment to:

Entry fee:
NZD$40 to enter one film
NZD$100 for three or more film entries from the same school.
Entry is FREE for NZ Secondary Schools category open to NZ high schools only.

Deadline for all entries is 30 November 2012.
