Haunted house offers bus for Halloween

Press Release – Spookers Haunted Attractions

Spookers is New Zealand’s only Terrifying Award Winning Professional Haunted House. Halloween is traditionally a very busy night, and to cater to the many visitors to Auckland who have no transport to make the journey to Kingseat, Karaka, this year Spookers is putting on a combined bus and attraction package. Tickets must be booked in advance, and pickup is from outside Atticus Bar in Fort Street. This will appeal to the many international visitors staying at Auckland’s backpackers.

For 7 years the evolving tale of Spookers and the Freaky Forest has entertained and thrilled thousands. The mind bending terror of Disturbia in 3D, a groundbreaking concept, is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before! Join us again this year at Spookers for Halloween as we unleash our Biggest and Scariest show ever at the old Kingseat Hospital just 30 minutes south of Auckland.

Spookers Haunted Attractions creaks open their doors every Friday and Saturday night plus Halloween night, Wednesday 31st October, with 3 chilling haunted experiences.

The Freaky Forest is based around an abandoned forest in the grounds of an old psychiatric hospital. Using a torch allows the victims to create their own journey into hell. They will feel like they are the victim in a horror movie!

Disturbia takes place in a grotesque circus themed wing of the old nurse’s home. Guests are in for a treat in the range of disturbing nightmares that we have constructed. The team went wild with their imagination to give you the most ingenious and visually horrifying attraction yet.

You will be given a “safety word” and hand gesture at each haunted attraction, so expect to be terrorized. Since part of the excitement is not knowing what is to come, specific details won’t be revealed, but you will see, touch and smell things that will be imprinted in your mind for the rest of the evening. Even if you are not a horror junkie, get out of your comfort zone and force yourself to experience Spookers. You won’t regret it!

Tickets to Spookers are $25 per haunted attraction or $35 for a ticket to 2 haunts on the same visit. There is a $55 Superscare which gives entry into all 3 attractions, claustrophobia and a photo. Hours of operation are Friday, Saturday and Halloween nights 8 p.m. with last entry at 10.30 p.m.
