Waitakere Police report that missing Massey 16-year-old Briar Mahe was found tonight in South Auckland, much to the delight of her family. She’d been last seen in Mangere at about 10pm on Saturday.

Briar was visiting friends near Idlewild Avenue in Mangere prior to her disappearance.

She is Tongan, of large build with dark skin and dark hair and she has a small scar burn mark on one wrist. She was last seen wearing black tights, high heels, a tan dress and a white woollen hat.

Briar had not been in contact with her family since Saturday and they were concerned about her.

Detective Sergeant Eugene Pickett says anyone who knows anything about where Briar is or what has happened to her should call Waitakere Police on 09 8390653 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
