Press Release – New Zealand Lotteries Commission
If you bought a Lotto ticket at Auckland Hospital this week, it could pay to check your tickets, as one ticket has won $2 million on last night’s Lotto draw.
“Our Lotto game jackpotted last week which meant $2 million was up for grabs this weekend, and our Auckland Lotto winner has certainly cashed in,” says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Wayne Pickup.
The winning ticket was sold at Auckland Hospital Book and Post in Auckland.
Powerball has jackpotted this week, and Powerball First Division will be worth $8.5 million next weekend. Strike has jackpotted to $900,000.
