The body of a man in his fifties has been recovered from the water.

Police went to the Marina at about 1.00am this morning when the man who has been living aboard his boat was reported missing by relatives.

The Police launch Deodar helped with a search in the surrounding waters and on the ground. The man’s body was found at dawn. There are no suspicious circumstances.

A post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death. The matter will be referred to the coroner.

The deceased man has been identified as:
Alan Wright
Aged 58 years
Resident of Bayswater
