“The Police investigation into the disappearance of Rae (Bok) Portman is now being treated as a homicide,” says Detective Inspector Mark Gutry of the Counties Manukau Police.
“The elevation to a homicide is based on information from the public through the 0800 RaePortman and the Crimestoppers phone numbers.
“The public are encouraged to continue contacting police with any information they have, no matter how trivial they believe it is,” says Mr Gutry.
Anyone with information about the murder of Rae Portman is urged by Counties Manukau police to contact either:
1. The Police investigation team on 0800 723 767 (0800 RaePortman)
2. Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 (0800 Crimestoppers)
Rae Portman was last seen on Wednesday 20 June. The 33-year-old, who has the nickname “Bok”, was reported missing to Police on Monday 2 July.
