Police want witnesses to crash which killed woman driver in Mt Roskill

Police investigating the death of 40 year-old Patrina Tau of Mangere Bridge want to hear from anyone who witnessed her crash into a wall at the intersection of St Andrews Rd and Mt Albert Rd, Mt Roskill at about 7.30 on Saturday morning.

Ms Tau – also known as Patrina Wilson – died at the scene of the crash. Police would also like to hear from anyone who was with her in the 12 to 24 hours prior to her death.

She was driving a small Mazda Demio and was last seen driving south on St Andrews Rd.

News from NZ Police – September 8
Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Mt Albert Road and St Andrews Road at approximately 7.30am this morning. A vehicle had collided with a wall at the Mt Albert side of the intersection.

The 40 year old woman driver was deceased at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

There is no further information at this stage
