News from NZ Police
Police received numerous calls early this morning describing a man running on the northbound carriageways of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

A search was conducted and after a short while the police helicopter located the man in the water. He then disappeared from view.

The Police launch has been unable to locate him.

Members of the public provided two different descriptions:

1, a young European male, late teens, slight in build, with dark hair of average length, he was wearing light pants and shirt.

2, male 25/30 years old, blue dress shirt and pants.

Members of the public are requested to call Police with any information they may have relating to the missing man
